FAQ

Where do I request discovery on my criminal case?

Please request all discovery at: gilbertprosdocs@gilbertaz.gov. This email only receives information. No responses will come from this address. Once your request is received it will be processed by our staff.

I ordered my discovery and it hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

If you received an email that we have received your request for discovery it is “in-progress”. We process discovery requests in the order in which they are received by our office. Discovery can take as long as 60 days to complete depending on the number of reports and information in the case.

I saw my discovery, but it is not available anymore on the portal. What should I do?
Discovery is available to access from the portal for 60 days. After 60 days the link expires and you must re-request discovery from our office. Once received, all discovery should be downloaded to your device or printed to assure its availability in the future. To reorder discovery, please email gilbertprosdocs@gilbertaz.gov.

Is there a cost for discovery?
No. Discovery is sent without cost.

I ordered discovery, but something is missing. What should I do?
Please contact the Gilbert Prosecutor’s Office at the discovery email link (gilbertprosdocs@gilbertaz.gov). We will respond after we have had a chance to review your request.
